We want to again thank all of you who helped the MIA/ARI to contribute to the support of our late and beloved Ambassadors, Israeli Lt. Col. David Yaniv and his wife Sheila.
Thanks to you and your help, we were able to be there for them in their latter years. They often told us how much they truly appreciated the help, and we felt honored to be able to walk with them. They loved the truth about Israel’s full restoration, and they had an incredible testimony that included a powerful healing in the Name of Messiah Yeshua. Batya made a video about Israel’s restoration set to the touching song, “Pioneer” by Nancy Honeytree. It includes pictures of David and Sheila in it. https://redeemedisrael.com/songs-and-videos/
On our site, we have a brief biography about the two of them, plus links to various sites that tell about their lives. Please see it at the bottom of this page: https://redeemedisrael.com/who-we-are-2/
David and Sheila established and pastored their beloved Roots Messianic Congregation, Kehilat Shorashim, for 17 years. Through their ministry they touched many people and helped change many lives for the better. They were humble people who never met anyone they did not like and they wanted to help as many people as they could.
We are now honored that the Yaniv family has allowed ARI to provide a dual River View Headstone to honor this awesome couple. It will be unveiled at 10 AM, August 18, 2013, at the Grand Army of the Republic Cemetery, 8602 Road, Snohomish, WA, 98290. The ceremony will be conducted by their son, Doron. Family friend Garry DeJong will officiate at the ceremony and Doron will help with the Hebrew prayers. The service is open to anyone who would like to attend.
The story of our late friend, Israeli Lt. Col. David Yaniv (shown at left) has been included in a new film, “The Miracle of Israel” narrated by Leonard Nimroy.
On their site, they list times in which the film is being aired on TV, plus they offer a free book in case it is not being shown in your area, and you can also purchase the DVD from them.
One of the comments made about the film is:
“I really enjoyed the personal testimonies from people who were actually there during the wars – especially the officer who was wounded, unable to move and saw a bright light from Heaven that lit up the battlefield and caused the Syrian unit to retreat! Amazing!”
The film is about the restoration of the Modern Nation of Israel, and the people who made it do not understand about “both the houses of Israel” and their coming reunion (Isa 8:14; Eze 37:15-28). Nonetheless, we hope you will check out this wonderful testimony to the faithfulness of our God. David and his Israeli Army Company experienced a powerful miracle during the ’68 War, and the film includes his story.
